This book holds such a special place in my heart, and it was my favourite read of 2024. She goes on a journey to save the guy she loves, and it’s such a heartwarming read. Brandon Sanderson is a great author!

I’m having a hard time remembering if she saves him in the first book, but this is a good mention because she saves him multiple times throughout the series. One of the times I cried like a baby.

I will never shut up about this book, I love Sabaa’s writing. The FMC often saves the MMC throughout the series.
These books prove that love stories hit so much harder when the heroine gets to be the saviour, slaying monsters, breaking curses, or just helping a deeply repressed hero learn how to process his feelings (a noble feat, truly).
